The Past

Like many grassroots clubs there is a vast football history that captures moments and stories related to football legends. Current players can associate to this which drives there desire to achieve. Workington Juniors FC is embedded into the local community. We have over 600 members and the town is represented by Workington AFC. This was the starting place of the great Bill Shankly’s successful career in football management. As a club we strive to provide knowledge of this and of the impact Bill went on to have with Liverpool FC. The hard work continues with all of our players.
